JOHNÂ 20:15-18
I write this as Super Bowl Sunday approaches – that means those important commercials.
Commercials always have a spokesperson to tell
the goodness of their product.
Imagine for a minute, you are the spokesperson, messenger, for the most important
commercial of our time. In fact- You are! And so am I!
We are called to be the spokesperson for Christ. Just like Mary, that day at the
tomb!We are told not to hide our lights. We ARE the commercial. We are charged to live
our lives reflecting our sponsor, Jesus, and the goodness he does in our lives.
Each day we need to ask ourselves:
How am I doing as a messenger for Jesus?
Am I reflecting the love he shared?
Am I showing compassion?
Am I helping my fellow man?
Can anyone tell I’m a Christian?
Remembering the Great Commission, to tell the world, I need to live a life that
shines a light for Jesus.
Prayer: Gracious Jesus, thank you for challenging me to be your best commercial.
With your guidance, I will shine for you.
